ANAHEIM, CA, Jul 25, 2023 – Edan Instruments, Inc. (300206.SZ) returned to 2023 AACC, renowned for its focus on lab medicine and equipment, from July 25 to 27 in Anaheim, California. As the association's influence on the professional field working in clinical laboratories continues to grow, it has recently announced a name change to the Association for Diagnostics & Laboratory Medicine. The exhibition is expected to gather more than 800 exhibitors and visitors interested in diagnostic technologies and innovative solutions within the healthcare industry.
"We proudly partake in ADLM 2023, North America's premier lab medicine exhibition. The platform enables us to share our passion for innovation, collaborate with industry leaders, and forge new partnerships that will shape the future of laboratory medicine," said Alex You, Senior Director of EDAN Global Marketing & Strategic Operations.
For the Molecular field, EDAN presented its groundbreaking Molecular Diagnostic Analyzer, ClariLight CL30, for the first time to the North American market. The new system is designed to offer effective solutions for infectious disease diagnostics by reducing the window period. Unlike PCR-based methods (generally non-portable, laboratory setting, time-consuming), CL30 produces molecular results as quick as 15 minutes, while multi-parameter cartridges and the extraction-free procedure allow massive and rapid molecular tests feasible.
i20, officially launched at the 2022 AACC, was also in the spotlight for bringing the ultimate experience to end users over the past year. By focusing on clinical needs, including size, maintenance, operation and cost, i20 is expected to be a perfect fit across clinical departments.
When mentioning the development of clinical laboratory medicine, Alex said “From this year onwards, a series of international seminars will be held in the clinical direction and gradually normalized. It aims to bridge borders and minds, fostering a global network of medical professionals united by a common vision of quality patient care.”
By spearheading such initiatives, EDAN showcased its commitment to advancing medical knowledge and elevating the standard of care. The workshops not only serve as a testament to EDAN's dedication to innovation but also enable the company to build strong relationships with medical professionals, hospitals, and healthcare institutions around the world. Through these collaborations, EDAN can gather invaluable feedback on its existing products and develop new solutions that cater to the evolving needs of the healthcare industry.
